David Broadbent

Based in the Royal Forest of Dean, David is a commercial photographer with long experience in the production of eye catching, high quality imagery for editorial and business markets.

The combination of passionate interest in his subjects drives his own distinctive and innovative style to create atmospheric and aesthetic images that appeal to a wide audience.

That approach has brought commission work from the RSPB, advertising agencies and a number of exhibitions and lectures each year. His original style lends itself to the growing market for photographic print work and all of David's work is available as prints.

Training

Dedicated photo training and photo-safari packages covering technical equipment use and creative techniques are available at David's Causeway Coast School of Photography. The school's creative courses feature comfortable accommodation and excellent meals and are based along the stunning Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland.

In the south west a series of one day training courses will be introduced in the Forest of Dean during 2010. Get in touch for details and to pre-book.

Birds

David Broadbent is the UK's most innovative bird photographer. No-one brings a more strikingly pictorial feel to the bird and bird habitat genre.

The skill of mixing a love and understanding for the subject, an artist's eye and sound technique help David to produce stunning images that make the cross-over from a specialist subject to mainstream and advertising/commercial applications.

In addition to stock landscape and natural history photography, David undertakes commission projects in 'words and pictures' to client specifications in fillers, features, advertising and books.

Projects

Current projects include work on the spectacular Causeway Coast Northern Ireland coastline, the Newport wetlands in south Wales, Honda Goldwing owners club, the Wye Valley and the vast River Severn estuary. The work from all of these projects are intended for book publications in the near future.
